My car had suffered damage due to injectors faulting and staying stuck open, dumping liquid raw fuel directly into the intake and nearby cylinders. The initial symptoms were misfires, progressively rough running, and engine not turning over due to liquid lock in the cylinders. I first had been to two car dealers - one could not examine the car for a week, and the other dealer service totally misdiagnosed the cause of my symptoms. I knew that dealer's diagnosis was incorrect, so I discussed it with a coworker who told me about No-Limit Auto. I had the car towed from the dealer to there. I was greeted No Limit Auto by Ryan and Jill, who were very helpful. When updating them on what had transpired with my car, they had some initial suggestions of their own concerning what it might be - and I then knew from their shared experiences and conversations with me, that they were very competent. Turned out the liquid fuel filling the cylinders locking up the engine sporadically, had caused undue stress on a connecting rod assembly, which had to be replaced, and also the remaining crankshaft connection rod bearings. This was also evident by knocking sounds coming from the lower engine, due to the loose and damaged rod bearings and damaged crank surfaces. The connector rod bearings all had to be replaced as well, with the crankshaft being re-machined (turned) slightly to true it up after the damage. Ryan also suggested replacement of the timing belt due to the engines mileage, and the starter due to it being weak with age and/or the strain of it recently turning the engine while liquid locked. I gave them the go-ahead to replace the timing belt and starter, which was only the smart thing to do. They were very prompt and true to their schedule estimates. I was very patient anyway, because I knew my car was in quality hands for the very first time probably since I'd owned it. The only delays experienced was when they had to outsource work to a machine shop or wait a day or two on parts to arrive. Upon receiving the car, I noticed it started up immediately and quickly, turning over faster with the new starter. The car ran perfectly. Ryan had asked me to bring the car back in four days or so, for them to do a quick inspection for any leaks, etc. I've never had any repair shop offer to do that for me. I waited two weeks minimum before writing any reviews, to be sure I had thoroughly given a time tested evaluation of the work by No Limit Auto. This work they had done, also required a lot of implicated dis-assembly/reassembly, to get to the parts they needed to replace. They had needed to disconnect about everything, from the radiator hoses and also the A/C lines to the condenser in front of the radiator, as well as removal of the engine for the work. So, this job required professional thoroughness on their part to be sure everything went back together properly. So, in my evaluation, I also was very keen to note how the car maintained engine temperature, as well as how the A/C system worked after their reassembling everything. They did an outstanding job. The car continues to run well, and I've taken it on some short trips, from Hampton to Williamsburg, and from Hampton to Norfolk without any issues and the car ran great. I'm confident now I can drive it anywhere. From now own, for every gasoline or fossil fuel powered car, I will only take it to No-Limit Auto should I need any service related work done. I'm very particular, and I give No-Limit Auto a Highest Recommendation.
Thanks Mr. Chester we greatly appreciate the review.
